The best warm-up before playing padel
We want to talk about the importance of a good warm-up before going out on the court to play padel. Without a doubt, this will help prevent injuries and activate mobility so that you can compete against your opponent in the best possible way.
Here is an example of a good ten-minute warm-up that you can adapt to your style, working on three areas: muscle activation, joint mobility and speed of movement.

AREA 1 – MUSCLE ACTIVATION
Three minutes of continuous jogging to get your engine running. If you have an elliptical trainer or magnetic treadmill, go for it! If not, you can do this near the padel court.
BLOCK 2 – JOINT MOBILITY
Continue with three minutes of joint stretching, in static mode and mobilising all joints without weight. First of all, focus on the lower body, finishing with the elbows, wrists and shoulders.
BLOCK 3 – MOVEMENT SPEED
Finally, for four minutes, move slightly in all directions, imitating short starts, and gradually increase the intensity. For example, leaning against a wall, push off and accelerate, run up to touch an object you can see, and return. Repeat in other directions and with other objects.
After that, go out onto the court warmed up, but remember that padel is a very mental sport, and trust is an important factor. If you go into the game 100%, everything will be easier than if you start by missing a lot of balls.
